WELCOME ...
Uptight Club was formed in April 2007 as an independant retro club night in Glasgow, Scotland.
Uptight Club plays the best in retro sounds, from 60's and 70s Funk and Soul, to Garage, Psyche, Freakbeat and SKA.
Previously held at The Woody in the West End and Barfly Glasgow, according to The List, Uptight Club delivers a sublime mix to "get your groove on" to.
Plenty of funk, soul and psychedelic tunes to get your groove on to.

Uptight Club has been put on sabbatical at the moment.
Unfortunately, for a number of reasons, Uptight Club will no longer be held at Barfly Glasgow. We'd like to thank Barfly for allowing us to hold the club there and wish them the very best for the future.

Uptight Club was proud to be part of the Oxjam Music Festival 2008.
The Uptight Club night on Friday 11th April 2008 was a fundraiser for Oxjam. Thanks to all who attended and donated.
UPTIGHT CLUB was formed with the aim of creating a club night that merged all of our musical tastes into one. We grew bored of nights being dominated by one type of music and of having to go to different clubs on different nights to get what we were looking for. Our bank managers, landlords and partners were also threatening to take action if this money squandering continued . . .
AVAILABILITY:
Although Uptight Club has been put on hold, the Uptight Club DJs are still available to provide guest slots, private hire and pre-club sounds.
